THE REQUIRED MATERIALS:


DK weight yarn - Yarn Art Jeans (55% cotton/45% acrylic; 50 g/160 m)
DK weight yarn - Alize Cotton Gold (55% cotton/45% acrylic; 100 g/330 m)

 Alize Cotton Gold No. 497 (brown) - basket


 Yarn Art Jeans №53 (black) - soil
 Yarn Art Jeans No. 62, 90, 82 (ultra-white, red, dark green) - mushrooms
 2.0 mm and 2.25 mm crochet hook
 Stuffing material (fiberfill/ polyester)
 Tapestry needle
 Scissors
 Stitch marker (a scrap of contrasting yarn)

 Cardboard for the bottom of the basket (3 pcs)
 A cotton swab or a small piece of wire for the stem of the mushroom
 White sewing thread
 Beads or a scrap of white yarn for decoration of the cap

NOTE! Yarn consumption, size, and appearance of the toy depend on


crochet density and how you hold the yarn.
The presented toy is crocheted with V and X look single crochet:
(First, you grab yarn over the hook, and for making the second stitch
grab it under the hook).

The finished product using the materials stated in this pattern is from
~4.7; 5.1; 5.5 inches in height.
Make sure you crochet tight enough, otherwise, the stuffing will show
through the holes.
Crochet the toy in continuous spirals without turning chains.

BASKET
Alize Cotton Gold No.497 (brown). 2.25 mm crochet hook

* In the next round, crochet through the posts between stitches. Insert
the hook in the first stitch and draw it out in the second stitch, grabbing yarn

Attach ultra white color yarn. Use a 2.0 mm crochet hook.

Stuff the basket with fiberfill.

Stuff the stem with fiberfill. Break yarn, leaving a tail 120 long. Tighten the
hole using a tapestry needle.

Draw out the remaining yarn to the stem in round 18.


Crochet: chain 2 (t-ch), 3 dc in one stitch.

Draw out the remaining yarn to the upper part of the stem for sewing the cap.

Embroider a few long and short stitches in the bottom of the stem with a 2-
ply scrap of dark green yarn (imitation of the grass).

Tie the yarn tails and hide them inside the stem.

Do not break yarn. Decorate the upper part of the cap with beads or
embroider short stitches with white thread.

Join both parts of the cap together. Crochet 72 sc through both loops of the
upper and bottom parts of the cap in a circle.

Break yarn, tighten and hide the yarn tail inside.

Once you have finished sewing the parts, complete decorating around the
edge of the fly agaric with beads.

FIRST, CROCHET THE BASKET AND SOIL

TRACE THE BOTTOM OF THE BASKET ON THE CARDBOARD AND CUT IT OUT. PUT
THE TEMPLATE INTO THE BASKET.

STEM
Attach ultra-white color yarn and work with a 2.0 mm crochet hook.
* Crochet the next round through front loops only.
Rnd 1: 16 sc
* Crochet the next round through both loops.
Rnd 2: (1 sc, inc)*8 (24)
Rnd 3: 24 sc
Stuff the basket with fiberfill.

Draw out the remaining yarn to the upper part of the mushroom for sewing
the cap.

Embroider a few long and short stitches in the bottom of the stem with a
2-ply scrap of dark green yarn (imitation of the grass).
