Description Concept 2K Etch Primer is an acid containing etch and

primer in one product. This product is characterized by
excellent adhesion and corrosion protection for a wide
range of metal substrates. 2K Etch Primer also includes
a rust inhibitor and gives a sound surface for the
application of primer surfacers and subsequent
topcoats. It is used when high performance corrosion
and adhesion quality is required. It is Chromate free.

• Galvanised iron, Zincalume, Zincanneal
• Glass reinforced polyester (GRP & general types of fibreglass body parts)
• Sound, cured and properly prepared existing surfaces

Substrate Preparation
All Substrates All surfaces must be thoroughly sanded and cleaned
with Concept Anti-static Cleaner prior to application.
Lightly rusted surfaces must be treated with Concept
025 Rust Converter.

Remarks
Stir all products thoroughly each time before use.
Stir the mixture well after the weigh-out of the components.
Surface temperature must always be a minimum of 3°C
(5°F) above dew point.
Note: Ensure the complete removal of any residue of Rust
Converter before applying this primer.
