College Events
• Description :
College Event is something in which we need data analysis process of
students as a data to success any event.
So I am here sharing my experience about an event which were organized
in clg, where we “The Computer Engineering Students Association” team
members were organized the technical/non-technical event for all the computer
engineer students as well as other department’s students to participate in such
program and could take maximum benefit from it.

• Plan :
First we decided to arrange such events which will attract maximum
number of students whether it can be both technical and non-technical events
where all branch students can participate. We need to decide that for which
event what will be the prize-pool, gifts.

• Prepare :
To organize such a big event obviously we needed to do marketing through
various banners, posters and all other stuff related to event. For this we had to
finalize our total budget and all the money required for such expenses like how
much money will we need for this event, for sports, for printing banners, posters,
etc. How to get or arrange the money? How to find the sponsors?

• Process :
Now we need to select specific events among all planned events as per
students interest and their attractions. Like in technical events we arranged code
competitions, hackathons as per daily scenario of Compititive Programming and
Group Project respectively. For students other than Computer & IT branch who
didn’t have any idea about coding we arranged Non-technical events like IPL
Auction as looking at the influence of IPL among students in India, Treasure hunt
and outdoor/indoor games, esport, etc.
• Analyze :
As we organized total 12 small-small events under this big event and we
were totally aware that all students would not gonna participate in all events. So
we started taking survey among all branch students, made google forms, created
polls to know their interests. As per these survey’s, many students were
interested in esports/ games, events like treasure hunts. After all the
outcomes/analysis of student’s interest, we decided to increase the prize-pools
of gaming events and treasure hunt, IPL auction and by putting different food
stalls in campus so that many students will come, show their interest and
participate this event.

• Share :
We circulate our posters, made attractive websites, videos, making teams
of 2-3 members to aware them about all our 3 days event plans with their
amazing prize-pools, exciting surprises, gifts, varieties of food stalls to gain all the
attraction and make this event massive & successful.

• Act :
Finally event succeeded with massive response!!
