#123 Mineral 2 cakes
• LION BRAND® crochet hook size N (10 mm)
• LION BRAND® large-eyed blunt needle

GAUGE
8 dc = about 5 in. (12. 5 cm); 5 rows = about 4 3/4 in. (12 cm).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

STITCH EXPLANATION
Bobble (4 double crochet cluster) Yarn over, insert hook in indicated st, yarn over and draw up a loop,
yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook (2 loops rem on hook), (yarn over, insert hook in same st,
yarn over and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook) 3 times, yarn over, draw
through all 5 loops on hook

NOTES
1. Blanket is worked in one piece back and forth in alternating rows of double crochet (dc) and half
double crochet (hdc).
2. A Bobble pattern is worked over the first and last 14 rows of Blanket.

BLANKET
Ch 80.
Row 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across – you’ll have 79 hdc in this row.
Row 2: Ch 2 (does not count as a st), turn, (dc in next 2 sts, Bobble in next st) 5 times, dc in next 15 sts,
Bobble in next st, *dc in next 2 sts, Bobble in next st; rep from * to last 3 sts, dc in last 3 sts – 58 dc and
21 Bobbles.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, hdc in each st across – 79 hdc.
Row 4: Ch 2 (does not count as a st), turn, dc in first 17 sts, Bobble in next st, dc in next 9 sts, Bobble in
next st, dc in each st to end of row – 77 dc and 2 Bobbles.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn, hdc in each st across.
Row 6: Ch 2 (does not count as a st), turn, (dc in next 2 sts, Bobble in next st) 5 times, dc in next 7 sts,
Bobble in next st, dc in next 7 sts, Bobble in next st, *dc in next 2 sts, Bobble in next st; rep from * to last
3 sts, dc in last 3 sts – 57 dc and 22 Bobbles.
Rows 7-10: Rep Rows 3-6.
Rows 11-13: Rep Rows 3-5.
