Horsepower and thrust capacities are based on vertical shaft speed and apply regardless of gear ratios. ‘SERVICE FACTOR: Ratings in the catalog tables incorporate an adequate service factor for continuous duty when driving a centrifugal or turbine type deep well pump. To select the correct size gear drive, use the tabulated valves directly to match the horsepower required by the pump. On other applications consult the factory.
