Lesson Describes the places where animals live

Animals live in different places. Some animals live on land. Some live in
water. Others live both land and in water.
Observe these animals.

Where do these animals live?


A cow lives on land. A carabao lives on land, too.
Can you name other animals that live on land? Many animals live on land.
They use their legs to move on land.

Draw the sun if the answer is right, and moon if it is wrong.

Animals live in different places. They build their homes to protect
themselves. Like human being, they need shelter to protect themselves from
enemies.

Animals have their own needs. One of their needs is a shelter for them to be
safe.

Many animals live on land like dog, cat, horse, pig, hen, goat, cow, and
carabao.
Some live in water like fish, shrimp, jelly fish, crab, dolphin and star fish.
Some animals live both on land and in water like turtle and frog.

Some animals live in high places. They stay in the air most of the time like
bird, dragonfly and butterfly.

3 Predicts what may happen to animals if their
needs are not met

We have learned that animals need food in order to live. All animals need
water when they are thirsty. All animals need sunlight and air in order to
grow strong and healthy like human beings. Animals also need shelter for
their protection.
But, what if animals do not eat? Do not drink? Do not breathe air? Do not
have shelter? What will happen to them?

What will happen to the animals if they do not get food, water and shelter?
