Activity Answers:
1. The movie Jose Rizal which was excellently played by Cesar Montano as the
lead role was a heartwarming one that shows how Rizal runs his life. I felt mixed
emotions given the fact that it was made to help us, Filipinos, understand what
our national hero had done for the country. It shows how Rizal really his mother
country for him to sacrifice his own life.
3.
A. the movie film is an excellent portrayal of what the Filipino heroes went through
for their love for the country. The insertion of scenes from Noli Me Tangere and
El Filibusterismo also helps to remind the audience how Dr. Jose Rizal assimilated
the events of his own life to those of his characters.
B. Jose Rizal is a 1998 Philippine historical drama film directed by Marilou Diaz-
Abaya and starring Cesar Montano as Jose Rizal. The film was based on the true
story of Filipino patriot Jose Rizal, who was imprisoned under the Spanish
colonization and tells Rizal’s story until the final day of his execution.
C. Rizal speaks with his fellow students about Philippine Independence. The
Spanish students call them monkeys and fight break out” In our life as students.
“Open your eyes to the injustices in the Philippines” The Spanish teacher has a
Spanish student and a Philippine student stand before the class next to each
other. He notes the height difference between the superior Spanish and the
inferior Philippine. Rizal rises to say that if height is of much importance then
why are so many of Spains colonies gaining their independence from Spain.
“One only dies once, and if one does not die well, a good opportunity is lost
and will not present itself again”. On the battlefield man has no better weapon
than his intelligence, no other force but his heart.
D. I have learned about Jose Rizal movie that we should love for our own country,
We should contribute something to make it better by simply showing patriotism.
and also we should thankful for what we have now because we already have the
freedom to express ourselves.
