rapport with students
 Provides and manages all available classroom resources profitably and effectively.
 Achieves teaching objectives to the optimum degree possible for a particular activity
within a reasonable period of time.
II. LESSON PLANNING (5%)
 Mapping Coherent Instruction.
III. MASTERY OF THE LESSON (10%)
 Presents concepts with clarity and depth, showcasing a comprehensive understanding
of the subject matter.
 Articulates complex ideas in a manner that resonates with the students'
comprehension levels.
 Presents and discusses concepts in a clear and logical structure, facilitating smooth
transitions for enhanced learner comprehension.
IV. INSTRUCTIONAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS (25%)
 Conducts review that relates to previous lesson.
 Delivers lesson skillfully and confidently that incorporates local cultures, examples and
context to enhance relevance to student’s daily lives
 Utilizes activities and strategies that foster interactive, cooperative, and integrative
learning experiences for students.
 Stimulates students to actively participate and engage in a positive manner during the
learning process.
 Creates opportunities for individual learning that cater to multiple intelligences
 Provides students with real-life situations to apply and practice the information and
skills they have learned.
 Poses questions that foster critical, rational, and higher-order thinking skills among
students.
 Acts as a facilitator of learning during class discussions and activities, promoting an
environment where students feel encouraged to explain and discuss their actions.
 Listens attentively to students’ responses and handles wrong answers tactfully.

 Utilizes ICT tools to enhance instructional materials, ensuring seamless integration of
technology for a more interactive and engaging learning experience.
 Includes clear and concise instructions with all materials, guiding students on how to
effectively use and engage with the resources provided.
VI. ASSESSMENT OF STUDENT’S LEARNING (10%)
 Utilizes appropriate assessment methods to gauge student comprehension.
 Offers prompt and constructive feedback on assessments, guiding students toward
improvement and reinforcing learning objectives.
 Designs assessments that prompt critical thinking, requiring students to analyze,
synthesize, and apply their understanding to real-world scenarios.
 Recognizes and celebrates student achievements, fostering a positive learning
environment that encourages continuous improvement and motivation.
VII. COMMUNICATION SKILLS (15%)
 Communicates and presents ideas clearly, logically, convincingly and effectively in the
language used as a medium of instruction.
 Speaks in a clear, pleasant, well-modulated voice and pronounces words correctly and
properly.
 Observes correct grammar and uses language appropriately to the level of the class
both in speaking and writing.
 Encourages students to speak and write correctly and properly.
VII. PERSONAL APPEARANCE (10%)
 Displays a demeanor that is pleasing, friendly, and impressive, commanding respect in
the classroom.
 Dresses in a manner that is both well-groomed and well-poised, projecting an image of
trustworthiness and confidence.
 Manifests sound physical health and embodies qualities such as patience, kindness,
understanding, and sensitivity to the unique needs and interests of students.
 Exhibits a good sense of humor, fostering a positive and enjoyable learning
environment.
 Demonstrates and upholds desirable values and attitudes reflective of the teaching
profession.

Note: Rating that is 80 and below is Fair; 81-84 is Good; 85-90 is Very Good, 91-96 is Outstanding; and 97 is Excellent.
