3. Answer the questions:

1. Is Denny a good or a bad husband/father/man? Prove it.
Denny is a faithful husband, father, and overall good person. He truly loves his wife, Eve,
and daughter, Zoe, and is eager to provide them with a happy life. Denny's loyalty to his
family is shown by making sacrifices, such as putting his racing career on hold to
support Eva during her illness and taking care of Zoe as a single parent after Eva's
death.
2. Who should be blamed for what happened to Eve?
I guess that nobody should be blamed for Eve's illness. The matter is that it's just
unfortunate circumstances.
3. Analyzing the deeds of Eve’s parents, whom are you for?
In my opinion, Eva's parents are tendentious and selfish because they do not take into
account Eva's last wish to appreciate and support her husband, nor their
granddaughter's desire to live with Danny. They tend to tell lies even at the court.
Nevertheless, Trish, Eve's mother, changes her opinion at the end and she testifies in
Danny's favor in court. So this is what shows that she has a conscience. Also, they come
to Zoe's birthday party, which shows a change of their intentions.
4. What is the role of Enzo in the film?
Enzo, the dog and narrator of the story, is Danny's wise and faithful friend. Enzo loves
and supports Danny and Zoe unconditionally, offering comfort in difficult times and
being a constant source of communication.
5. Do you believe in reincarnation of souls?

I am interested in the idea of reincarnation. The film's exploration of Enzo's belief in

rebirth, as he looks forward to his next life as a human being, is consistent with my
assumption that this process is quite possible.

From Enzo's point of view, the film encourages reflection on the cyclical nature of life
and the potential of souls to find new forms of existence.
6. What is the main idea of the film?

"The Art of Running in the Rain explores the themes of love, loss, resilience, and the bond
between humans and animals. This film highlights the importance of family, friendship
and finding joy in the life's challenges. It encourages viewers to appreciate the present
moment, and keep going, even in the face of difficulties and death.

4. Based on the film, in writing comment on the quote: “In truth, a family is what you
make it” (140-90 words).

The quote "Family is really what you make of it" relates to the themes of love, loyalty, and
chosen connections.

It suggests that family ties are not only measured by blood, but also by the relationships we
foster and invest in.

Nowadays, people are no longer bound by traditional family structures, and this quote highlights
the value of creating strong connections with those who bring out the best in us. It shows that
people tend to find relief and support in a wide variety of circles.

In the end, it's not about whom we blame or who we tie the knot with, but about the true
connections we make, which often brings the deepest sense of belonging and love.
