CAT 2023 Exam Pattern
The major points related to CAT 2023 exam pattern are

 Number of Questions: There are 24 questions in VARC


section, 20 in DILR section, and 22 in QA section.
 Total Marks: The exam is of 198 marks. VARC has the
highest weightage of 72 followed by Quant with 66 and
DILR with 60.
 Negative Marking: It is applicable to the MCQs only.
 Number of MCQs: Out of the total questions, expect 45-
46 questions with choices.
 Number of TITA questions or Non-MCQs: Expect 6-7
TITA questions in VARC section, 6 in DILR, and 7-8 in
Quant section.
