DeltaV R5.1 Installation
1. Install Windows 7 which should be inline with DeltaV Operating system guidelines.
2. After completion of Windows 7 installation 100% start with DeltaV R5.1 installation Disk-1.
3. Insert Disk in DVD drive.
4. Run the Deltav installation setup.

5. System will start to load files & it will ask for reboot. Click on ‘Yes’ to reboot system.

6. Login in to the system. After reboot setup will continue automatically.
7. System will continue to load files & it will ask for reboot. Click on ‘Yes’ to reboot system.

8. After reboot system will continue to install further required components like Internet
Explorer 11.

9. System will continue to load files & it will ask for reboot. Click on ‘Yes’ to reboot system.
10. After reboot system will continue to install further required components.

11. After installing pre installation components automatically; further DeltaV system will start to
install DeltaV 10.3.5. Click on ‘Next’.

13. Select appropriate work station type.
a. For Professional Plus : Tick on Professional Plus
b. For Operator Station: Tick on 3rd option, ‘Local Professional-Operator-Base-
Maintenance’.
14. Setup Type recommended is on ‘D’ drive. Select ‘Typical (DVData on D drive)’

15. Click on Next.

17. DeltaV installation will start & during this we cannot terminate this setup till completion.
Further setup will be continue till the disk completion.

19. This will mention Disk release date. Click on ‘Ok’
20. Now setup will apply Microsoft OS Hotfixes. Click on ‘Yes’. This will take 3 to 4 hrs. No any
manual intervention will be required after this step.

DeltaV Workstation configuration
Procedure
1. Remove All network cables from the station which work station configuration is to
be run.
3. Click On ‘Next’.

4. Select Appropriate Workstation type. Then Click On ‘Next’.

3. Select appropriate Workstation to be configured. *Not applicable for ProPlus
station. Setup will continue automatically for ProPlus*

5. Setup will continue further.
6. Click on ‘Ok’. This will logoff the system. We need to log on again.

8. After password Workstation configuration completion massage will be displayed on
screen.
