Objective / Aim:
• Prevent discrimination and sexual harassment against women, by promoting gender amity
among students and employees through seminars, workshop and competitions

• Lay down procedures for the prohibition, resolution, settlement and prosecution of acts of
discrimination and sexual harassment against women, students and the employees

• Deal with cases of discrimination and sexual harassment against women in a time bound
manner aiming at ensuring support services to the victim

• Recommend appropriate punitive action against the guilty

Guest Lecture on “Entrepreneurship Challenges and Opportunities in the
Digital World

The ICC has organized an online guest lecture entitled “Women Empowerment and Mental
Health Well Being” on 24th September 2023 between 03.30 pm – 04.30 pm. The session was
handled by Mr.Kirubeshkumar, Transformation Therapist and Psychological Counsellor,
Madurai. He gave an inspirational speech to the students about relationship management. He
advised that relationships take effort, and they can be healthy and happy if you know
what to do. The speaker also addressed about the problems faced by women’s in social
media and how to limit its usage.
Awareness Meeting on “Impact of Stress on Women’s Health and Prevention of Sexual
Harassment”

ICC has conducted an Awareness Meeting on “Impact of Stress on Women’s Health and Prevention of
Sexual Harassment”, for all the girls students on August 21, 2023, at Vedanayagam Auditorium from
10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Dr Bharathi A, and Dr Deepa D, addressed the gathering on maintenance of
dress code, gender equality, Women’s Rights, Women Empowerment, health issues and measures
taken for prevention of sexual harassment.
An Awareness Programmes on Faculty dress code, sexual harassment, Menstruation, and
Intimate Hygiene on 12.08.2023 Saturday at Vedanayagam auditorium between 3.00 pm to
4.30 pm. Dr.A.Bharathi, and Dr.D.Deepa, have addressed the gathering pointing the dress
code to be followed by the Female Faculty members, measures that has been initiated to
prevent sexual harassment inside the premises and other general health issues.
