Life skills are the ability for adaptive and positive behavior that enables humans
to deal with the demands and challenges of Life.
This concept is also termed as PSYCOLOGICAL COMPETENCY. This subject
will refer to social norms, community, expectations etc. but, it will function for
well-being of human beings. It also gives us knowledge about speaking, listening,
reading skills, how to tackle different problems in life, confidence to facing
challenges etc.
1. Creative thinking and Critical thinking: This describes the ability the ability
to think in different and unusual ways about problems and find new solutions, or
generate new ideas, coupled with the ability to access information and understand
its relevance.
2. Self- Awareness: They descried understanding yourself and being able to feel
for to other people as if their experiences were happening to you.
3. Assertiveness or Self Control: These describe the skills needed to stand up for
yourself and the people and remain calm even in the face of considerable
provocation.
Ability to cope with problems which describes the ability to recover from
setbacks and set them as opportunities to learn or simply experiences.
4. Managing vocabulary: Even if you are a native English speaker you may
sometimes feel overwhelmed by the amount of unfamiliar vocabulary you of
course as a universely student you have great opportunity and need to build your
vocabulary .to resolve this keep a list of new words, record their definitions and
write example sentences for those words.
5. Time management: It one of the most important part of life skills. People
should do their work by managing the time.
