In 1975, he and his friend Alen first found the company microsoft in
New Mexico. It became the worlds largest personal computer
software. It was a huge success for the company. He led the company
as the founder and CEO until stepping down as the CEO in January,
2000. The next CEO was Steve Ballmer. Bill Gates still remained as
chairman of the board of directors and became chief software
architect. He retired from his career as the chairman in the February
of 2014. But still microsoft is one of the most used softwares in the
world till today, thanks to Mr. Bill Gates.
You may think Bill Gates achieved everything because he was born
as a rich man. This is highly not true, he achieved because had an
idea and passion for his dream. It doesn’t matter if you are rich or
poor the only thing that matters is that you should dream big and
work hard and passionate with interest towards what you want. But
if you still think poor people cannot achieve anything in the field of
business here is the biography of Mr. Sundar Pichai who was not a
millionaire by birth.
Mr. Sunder Pichai
We will now see the biography of Mr. Martin Luther King Jr. who
fought against racial discrimination in the USA and gave freedom to
all the African- Americans. What he achieved was the true meaning
of success because he died over 50 years ago but he still lives in the
hearts of millions of people.
Mr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Mr. Martin Luther King Jr. was born on the fifteenth of January, 1929
which is now national celebrated as Martin Luther King’s day. What
did an African- American do to earn respect and have a special day
honouring him in the USA?
Infact King became friends with a white boy whose father owned a
business across the street from his family's home. In September 1935,
when the boys were about six years old, they started school. King had
to attend a school for black children, Younge Street Elementary
School, while his close playmate went to a separate school for white
children only. Soon afterwards, the parents of the white boy stopped
allowing King to play with their son, stating to him "we are white, and
you are colored". When King relayed the happenings to his parents,
they had a long discussion with him about the history of slavery and
racism in America.Upon learning of the hatred, violence and
oppression that black people had faced in the U.S., King would later
state that he was "determined to hate every white person". His parents
instructed him that it was his Christian duty to love everyone.
He was a man who lived for the people and he earned his respect
we would like to tell you on our behalf, you need not take him as an
inspiration or be the next him all we request you is please respect
people like him and learn that what he achieved is the true meaning
of success.
Another person who lived for his people was Mahatma Gandhiji. Let
us know what a great kind of person he was in this biography of him.
Mahatma Gandhiji
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi commonly called Mahatma Gandhi
was born in Porbandar on October 2nd 1869 (it is celebrated as
Gandhi Jayanthi every October 2nd) he was excellent on studies and
he completed a lawyer’s degree in South Africa and became a
lawyer. After he became a lawyer he was very unhappy about racism
in South Africa. So he protested against the government and
destroyed racism South Africa he came to India after further studies
in South Africa. While he was travelling through a village when the
train crossing he saw farmers who were just wearing a small towel
on them to cover them. So from that day he was also Not wearing
coats and just wearing a small dothi and towel on him. Then he
followed the act of non
violence against the British. His protest were for true and valid
reasons. But he was still put in jail by the merciless British
government. But after long struggles he became one of the main
reasons India got freedom. He thus got the name “father of the
nation”. He not only got the name but got a place in everybodies
hearts too.
In this chapter you would have come to know about famous people
and their achievements. But success is not oly about being famous
and making the whole world know you but there are some people
who we haven’t heard of or thought of but without them or their
sacrifices or their inventions be wouldn’t live happily now. We will
be talking about our hidden heros in the next chapter.
After the first chapter we think you would have got this question, ‘
Is success only fame?’. You may have got this question because we
discussed about famous people you already know. This is why we are
dedicating this chapter to the uncommon legends. We will include
several biographies such as Mr. Macroni, Mr. Thomas Sancara, etc.
These people we mentioned have invented things like the radio,
television, electricity which are essential everyday items. Even Mr.
Thomas Sankara has made the world a much more peaceful place to
live in without discrimination and slavery. You need not do anything
for them to make them famous now, but your small effect by knowing
their names by reading their biographies in this book and other books
and knowing their name and by happily licing the life they’ve given
us and not asking for more is the best we can do for them. So let us
start with a beautiful biography of a heroic person and freedom
fighter Mr. Thomas Sankara.
Mr. Thomas Sankara
Next lets see about the person who invented the radio which was
almost said to be the invention of the century Sir Guglielmo Marconi.
Although we have finished his biography real quick his brain and
heart are bigger than this whole book. He was a person who accepted
bad comments, implemented useful comments and most importantly
he did not stop learning till his age of death. What we want you to
know here is that there is a whole universe of facts which cannot
even belearnt in a thousand births but all we want to say is that
don’t put a full stop to your education or knowledge even after
school or college.
Thats the end of this chapter, we hope you’ve come to know about
something new in this chapter and we also hope that you understood
that true success is not only fame but its your victory, pride and
happiness.
We are dedicating the whole 3rd chapter for the biography of Mr.
Walt Disney. It is going to be a four page biography filled with
important and interesting facts.
