UGC NET Syllabus 2022

The UGC NET Exam dates in 2022 has been announced on official website. UGC-NET
Examination comprises two papers – Paper I (50 Questions & 100 marks) and Paper II (100
Questions & 200 marks), conducted in the same session, without any break. Paper I is common
to all examinees, and applicants can select Paper-II for their subject specialization. Here we are

UGC NET 2022 Exam is conducted in online mode (Computer Based Test). The Computer
Based Test (CBT) will consist of two papers i.e. Paper-I & Paper-II. There will be no break
between Paper-I and Paper-II. Both the papers will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice

 The questions in Paper I intend to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate. It will
primarily be designed to test the reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking,
and general awareness of the candidate.
 For each correct response, the candidate will get 2 marks.
 There is no negative marking for incorrect response
 Paper-II is 100 marks based on the subject selected by the candidate
