Q33. A wooden toy rocket is in the shape of a cone mounted on a cylinder. The height of the
entire rocket is 26 cm, while the height of the conical part is 6 cm. The base of the conical
portion has a diameter of 5 cm, while the base diameter of the cylindrical portion is 3 cm. If
the conical portion is to be painted orange and the cylindrical portion yellow, find the area

still water?
Q37. As a part of this one-week long festival, students of Durgapura Higher Secondary School
thought of planting trees in and around their school to reduce air pollution. It was decided
that each section of each class would plant twice as many plants as class which they
belong to. There were 4 sections of each standard from I to XII. So, if there are four
sections in class I say I A, I B ,I C and I D, then each section would plant 2 trees. Similarly,
each section of class II would plant 4 trees and so on. Ratan ,who is a student of Class XB
decided to frame a set of questions and answers based on the above information .
