Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are the most well-known cities in Vietnam. They have many interesting
similarities. Like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City has a densely populated. Both of them have the biggest
population in Vietnam. The beautiful scenery and people in these cities attract many foreign tourists. In
Hanoi, there are many foreign visitors. Similarly, in Ho Chi Minh City, there are many foreign tourists.
Beside similarities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City have a lot of clear differences. On the one hand, Hanoi is
the capital of Vietnam. On the other hand, Ho Chi Minh City is the largest economic city in Vietnam. The
weather of both cities is also different. Hanoi has four seasons in a year. In contrast, Ho Chi Minh City
just has two seasons. Personally, I love Hanoi more cause I love winter which Ho Chi Minh City doesn’t
have. I like the antiquity and the scenery here in autumn.
