GOLDEN KNOWLEDGE: A STUDY OF

ARTISTRY AND CREATIVITY

PRESENTED BY:
ANNE PAULEEN TABANGCURDA
KRISTINELLA MARIE BERONDO
OF SPA 8 AMORSOLO
FOR RESEARCH
CHAPTER ONE
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

We tend to confuse being creative as an artist, but we forget that every human has a creative calling

that we possess since the day we were born. The world made us believe that being unable to paint or draw

is not being creative, which is false. We all have our sense of creativity, but that doesn’t mean we can call

ourselves artists. It also doesn’t work the other way around.

Being an artist requires talent, skill, patience, and practice. To excel in their field of arts, artists

practice not to be perfect with the basics but learn to make their style with the help of the basics. It’s

similar to being creative, creative people tend to imagine and create out of their heads. A creative artist is

probably a better artist, but you don’t have to be creative to be an artist.

We aim to help you understand the gap between artists and creative people and introduce a broader

medium to what artists and creative people can be.
