NOTICE
The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the National Defence
Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2024 at various Centers/Venues all over
India on 21st April, 2024 (Sunday). The Commission will upload the e-Admit card for the
convenience of the admitted candidates on its web-site (https://upsconline.nic.in). The
admitted candidates are advised to download their e-Admit Card and take a printout as
soon as the same is uploaded on the website. The e-Admit card must be preserved till the
declaration of the final result of Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I)
2024. No paper Admit Card will be issued for the Examination. “Important Instructions to
the candidates” appended with the e-Admit Card must be read carefully by the candidates.
2. The candidates will have to produce the printout of their e-Admit card at the
alloted venue for appearing at the Examination. A candidate, who does not produce
his/her e-Admit card for checking at the alloted venue, shall not be allowed to take
the Examination. The candidates are also required to carry along the photo ID card,
whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card, in each session.
3. In case of any discrepancy is noticed in the e-Admit Card, the same may be
communicated to the Commission immediately at e-mail ID [email protected] for taking
the decision in the matter.
4. Candidates should also note that they shall not be allowed to appear at any other
Examination Venue except at the Examination Venue mentioned in the e-Admit Card.
5. It must be noted that the Forenoon Session will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
and the Afternoon Session will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The entry of the
Candidates in the Venue shall be closed 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the
Examination (in each session). No candidates shall be allowed the entry into the
Examination Venue after closure of the entry.

6. Candidates are not allowed to enter the examination premises with any
valuables/costly items, mobile phones, smart/digital watches, other IT gadgets, books,
bags etc. Candidates are advised not to bring banned items as Venue Supervisors will not
make any arrangement for keeping these items at the Venue. In case, a candidate brings
any such banned items, he/she will make his/her own arrangements for keeping the same
outside the venue and the Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
Further, the candidates will be allowed to take with them only e-Admit card, pen, pencil,
identity proof, photographs and any other items as specified in the Instructions of the e-
Admit card to the Venue. No other items shall be allowed to be taken inside the Venue.
8. Candidates are also advised to bring Black Ball Point Pen to the Examination
Hall for taking the examination.
10. Only use of normal or analog wrist watches is allowed inside the Examination
Rooms/ Halls by the candidates. Watches fitted with any special accessory that might be
used as communication device or smart/digital watches are strictly prohibited.
