SUBJECT: Release of “NEW” International® Paint Color Chip Charts

You asked for it. Now, you’ve got it. A comprehensive “NEW” paint color chip chart (PDB—85000U) that displays
the latest arid most popular truck colors. The wide variety of glamour paint colors included in these charts are for
use on the entire International product offenng.
Initial mail distribution of the PDB—85000U Paint Color Chip Charts including this letter will be sent to all
subscribers who presently receive CT—400 Data Books, Price Lists and or Product Information Update Letters.
Additional copies may be ordered from the International Printing and Distribution Warehouse on or after January 5,
2004.
The “NEW” Paint Color Chip Charts PDB—85000U replace all previously issued paint color chip charts (Those
originally released in PDB—85000T that was printed in 1995; and all Feature Color additions that were added in
1996 [Part of PDB—85000T], 1997 [PDB—85001U], 1998 [PDB—85001V] and 1999 [PDB—85001W].)
These charts reflect the New STANDARD Paint Colors and optional NON—REFLECTIVE and PREMIUM paint
colors being offered by International. The colors contained in the printed paint color chip charts are available
immediately. However, the reclassification of certain colors between pricing categories may result in price changes
for your customers. Refer to Product Pricing Letter G—588 dated December 8, 2003. These changes will become
effective on Monday, January 12, 2004. Complete and accurate color and price information will be included in the
January 8, 2004 release of Sales Tools.

WHAT’S NEW and WHAT’S CHANGING

CHANGES TO STANDARD PAINT COLORS (No Code Required)
International currently provides six (6) distinctive STANDARD paint colors. With the release of these “New” Paint
Color Chip Charts, International will continue to provide six (6) distinctive STANDARD paint colors. The six (6)
paint colors are as follows;
0001 Canyon Black 2303 Red 6E12 Blue Metallic *
0311 Omaha Orange 4421 School Bus Yellow 9219 Winter White

NOTE: Color number 6E1 2 (Blue Metallic) will replace the existing STANDARD paint color 6800 (Deep Tartan
Blue). This change will become effective on January 12, 2004 and will no longer require the optional PREMIUM
Paint Color charge code of 10769 when specifying paint color 6E12. On January 12, 2004 Color number 6800
(Deep Tartan Blue) will become available as an advertised PREMIUM paint color and will require the optional
PREMIUM Paint Color charge code of 10769.
