Conditional sentence Using Type 1:

The conditional sentences indicate us a possible condition and its probable result.
It means that the expected actions depends on a condition. If Clauses – Type 1 is
used to express a possibility in the future (It is not certain that it will happen, but it
is possible). We use this type when talking about real and possible situations in
the future.

Examples:
 If I have enough money (if clause) , I will buy a car. (Main Clause)
 If we see her, we will tell her what the teacher said.
 If I go to the market, I will buy what you want.
 If I pass the exam, I will organize a celebration party.
 If you feel bad, you must go to the doctor.
 If I am not busy tomorrow, I will help you.
if clause + suggestion adalah kalimat bersyarat yang bisa digunakan untuk
memberi saran kepada orang lain. Untuk melakukan sesuatu yang berhubungan
dengan kejadian sehari-hari agar bisa meraih hasil yang diinginkan.

Pola kalimat if clause berbeda-beda tergantung tujuannya, mulai dari:

 Reminder (pengingat)
 Suggestion (saran)
 General truth (kebenaran umum)
 An imperative (perintah)
 To show a dream (pengandaian)

dia ingin lulus ujian sains, dia sebaiknya belajar dengan giat)

5. If they want to travel around Europe, they had better save much
more money (Jika mereka ingin berkeliling Eropa, mereka
sebaiknya menabung lebih banyak uang)
6. If he wants to marry her, he should show how big is his love (Jika
dia ingin menikahinya, dia sebaiknya menunjukkan betapa besar
rasa cintanya)

7. If you want to be an astronaut, you ought to study about Science


and Technology (Jika kamu ingin menjadi astronot, kamu
sebaiknya belajar tentang Sains dan Teknologi)

8. If you want to be a five star hotel Chef, you should learn about
various food and do more practicing (Jika kamu ingin menjadi Chef
hotel bintang lima, kamu sebaiknya belajar bermacam jenis
hidangan dan perbanyak praktik)

9. If you don’t want to be poor, you had better work to earn money
(Jika kamu tidak mau miskin, kamu sebaiknya bekerja untuk
menghasilkan uang)

10. If she wants to be pretty, she should take care of herself (Jika
dia mau jadi cantik, dia sebaiknya merawat diri)
