PERSONAL DETAILS
Name……………………………………………………………………………
Address…………………………………………………………………………
……………………………………………………………………………………
COURTESY
To be polite to your family, teachers and friends.
INTEGRITY
To be honest with yourself - you must be able to define right from wrong.
PERSEVERANCE
Never give up – to achieve a goal, whether it is a higher grade or a personal
goal, you must never stop trying; you must persevere!
SELF-CONTROL
Never lose your temper - to lose your temper shows a lack of control. To be
able to live, work and train within your capabilities shows good self control.
HUMILITY
No one is perfect – no matter how much we think we know, there is always more
to learn.
INDOMITABLE SPIRIT
To show courage - when you and your principles are pitted against overwhelming
odds, find and use your courage.
Uniform
1. All uniforms must be clean and presentable at every class.
2. No T-shirts to be worn instead of Dobok tops until notified by instructors (e.g.
in summer).
3. Any T-shirts worn under Doboks must be plain or have our logo on.
4. Uniform: All uniforms must be purchased through Leadership MA.
Equipment
1. Ensure you bring all of your equipment to every lesson.
2. Only equipment purchased through Leadership Martial Arts is allowed to be
used in class.
Other
All belongings must be left neatly at the back of hall whilst training, but at the risk of
the owner.
2. Practise, your class time is limited so take the opportunities you have
to practise and perfect your techniques.
4. ‘You are never wrong!’ you are just learning and perfecting. This
MUST always be borne in mind when helping others.
5. Respect is something you earn and in order to receive it, you must
give it. Never disrespect another student.
6. You are judged as a Martial Artist where ever you go and who ever
you are with. Your conduct outside the classroom is a direct reflection
of you and your Academy, so make it a good one!
7. True humility is only ever found in those who strive for perfection not
in themselves, but in those around them. The one who needs your
help the most is the one who will never ask for it. So don’t wait to be
asked, offer!
9. The road to self improvement has many paths, you will spend time
working on the physical and the mental, but take time to read and
develop your brain as well.
10. The greatest respect you can show your Academy and Instructor is to
share them with your friends and family. A good student will, at every
opportunity, invite and encourage those around them to become
students of their art.

the creation of the world or the beginning of human history, therefore, it is the initial
pattern played by the beginner. This pattern consists of two similar parts; one to
represent the Heaven and the other the Earth.
