9. FUELING
Fill the engine tank outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, making sure the engine is turned off. There may be
excess pressure inside the fuel tank due to the volatility of gasoline vapors. Be sure to cool the engine before
refueling and be careful. Clean the area around the fuel tank cap.
ATTENTION!
Never use contaminated gasoline or oil/gasoline mixtures.

• Make sure that no dirt or water gets into the fuel tank.
• Do not use gasoline containing methyl or ethyl alcohol, otherwise the engine may be seriously damaged.
Unscrew the fuel tank cap and check the fuel level. Recommended fuel: unleaded gasoline (91 octane or higher).
Always use fresh fuel to refuel the engine.
Make sure that no dirt or water gets into the fuel tank.
If the fuel level is low, fill the fuel tank to the top level mark in the filler neck.
Slowly add fuel to the tank. DO NOT OVERFLOW. Fuel may expand after filling. A minimum of 1/4 inch (6.4 mm)
of free space in the tank is required for fuel expansion.
The fuel level should not exceed the maximum permissible limit. Excessive filling may lead to unstable engine
operation and fuel system failure.
Never use a mixture of gasoline and motor oil or contaminated gasoline.
When refueling, avoid getting dust, dirt or water into the fuel tank.
After refueling, close the fuel tank securely by tightening the fuel tank cap until it stops. Avoid prolonged or
repeated skin contact with gasoline or inhalation of gasoline vapors. Keep fuel away from children.

Use only unleaded gasoline. Using leaded

gasoline will cause serious damage to internal
engine parts.

ATTENTION!
DO NOT REFUEL WHEN THE ENGINE IS
RUNNING OR IF THE ENGINE IS NOT COOL AFTER STOPPING.
ATTENTION!
DO NOT OVERFILL THE FUEL TANK. THE FUEL LEVEL SHOULD NOT EXCEED THE BOTTOM LEVEL OF
THE GAS TANK NECK.
ATTENTION!
WIPE UP ANY ACCIDENTAL FUEL SPILLED IMMEDIATELY BEFORE STARTING THE GENERATOR
ENGINE.

of reduced electrical power, allowing the engine to idle during idle periods. The engine speed automatically
returns to normal when an electrical load is connected. When the economy mode switch is off, the engine runs
at normal operating speed.
WARNING
During periods of high electrical load or short-term fluctuations, the economy mode should be OFF.

12
Operation manual

ENGINE STOPPING
1. Before turning off the engine, turn off and disconnect the loads connected to the generator. Never start or
stop the generator engine with electrical devices running.
2. Allow the generator to run without load for a few minutes to stabilize the internal temperature of the engine
and generator.

4. Turn the engine switch to the “OFF” position.
IMPORTANT!
Always make sure the fuel valve and engine switch are in the “OFF” position when the engine is not in
use.

PREPARATION AND OPERATION IN WINTER

The winter period of operation is considered to be the period when the ambient temperature is set below +5
degrees Celsius. Low ambient temperature makes it difficult to start the engine and has a negative impact on
the operation of all its systems. For further trouble-free operation of the generator, it is necessary to carry out
a number of measures:
• Completely exhaust the old fuel and drain the remaining fuel through the drain hole in the lower part of the
carburetor float chamber.
• Clean the fuel valve filter.
• Check the spark plug, if there is damage or a brown coating on the outer ceramic body, the spark plug must
be replaced.
• Check the air filter and replace it if necessary.
• Replace engine oil with the appropriate one for the season.
• Pour settled gasoline into the fuel tank to prevent water from entering and further freezing in the fuel tank
and carburetor.
In winter, the generator should be stored in a room with a temperature of +5 degrees Celsius and above. If the
engine is stopped for more than 15 minutes during operation at subzero temperatures, then before starting it is
necessary to place the unit in a warm place to prevent condensate from freezing in the breather tube and in the
air damper. This may lead to increased pressure in the crankcase and failure of the seals. Monitoring of the
generator set operation during this period should be carried out more often than usual, since operating conditions
are severe.

11. LOAD CONNECTION

NOTE
Do not connect the load to the generator until the engine has been started. Make sure that all loads
are disconnected from the generator before start-up.
NOTE
Do not connect the load when the engine is not warmed up - this will negatively affect its performance
and shorten its service life.
Make sure the power station is grounded.
Before directly connecting loads to the power station, add up the power of all connected electrical appliances.
The total value should not exceed the rated power of the generator.

13
Operation manual

It is necessary to have a free reserve for power consumption of at least 30% of the maximum generator power.
This is due to the presence of start-up currents of inductive motors of some loads, which increase the power of
a particular load several times during the start-up.

For exact power value, check the nameplate or user manual for the appliance you want to connect
to the generator.

The operating voltage and frequency requirements of all electronic equipment must be verified before connecting
to this generator.
ATTENTION!
Do not exceed the rated power of the generator.
The total power of all loads must be taken into account.
• Do not exceed the current rating specified for each socket.
• Do not connect the generator to your home mains. This may cause damage to the generator or household
loads.
• Do not modify or use the generator for purposes other than those specified.
1. Start the generator without any electrical load connected.
2. Let the engine run for a few minutes to stabilize.
3. Connect and turn on the first load element. It is best to connect the equipment with the highest load first.
4. Wait for the engine to stabilize.
5. Connect and turn on the next element.
6. Wait for the engine to stabilize.
7. Repeat steps 5-6 for each additional element.
ATTENTION!
Never exceed the specified power value when adding load to the generator.

OPERATION DURING OVERLOAD

The overload indicator light will light up when the rated load is exceeded. When the maximum load is reached,
the LED will blink and turn off outlet power.
To restore power, turn off the generator, wait until the LED goes out, and restart the generator.
If loads overheat, immediately disconnect them from the generator.
Do not overload the generator.
Do not use the generator in overload mode.
If the generator’s power is insufficient to supply the connected loads, this will result in damage to the generator
and connected equipment.

OPERATION AT HIGH ALTITUDE

Engine power decreases as air mass and air-fuel ratio decrease. Engine power and generator power will decrease
by approximately 3½% for every 1000 feet of altitude. This is a natural tendency and cannot be changed by
adjusting the engine. At high altitudes, increased exhaust emissions may also occur due to an increased richness
of the air-fuel mixture.
Other problems at high altitude may include difficult start-up, increased fuel consumption, and fouled spark
plugs.

14
Operation manual

12. PARALLEL CONNECTION OF 2 GENERATORS

Make sure generators are off and without load before connecting parallel wires.
Insert the parallel connection wires. Make sure the parallel wires are inserted correctly into the parallel terminals.
Inverter generators may be damaged if connected incorrectly.
Start the two inverter generators in the normal manner described in the “Engine Start-Up” section. Connect
loads.
ATTENTION!
Only two identical inverter generators of the same model can be connected in parallel. Use only the
parallel wire that is supplied as part of delivery package. If one generator is used, the wires must be
disconnected. Connect the wires only when the generator is turned off.
ATTENTION!
Never start or stop the generator with electrical devices connected or turned on.

13. BATTERY
NOTE
While the engine is running, the battery will be charged from the power station charging system.

• For long-term storage, the battery must be fully charged.

To run an electric start generator, the battery must be connected.
1. Rotate the battery cover handle to the open position
and remove the access cover from the rear panel.
2. Loosen the straps and remove the battery.
3. Remove the negative (-) battery terminal cap and

4. Place the battery back in place and use the straps to
secure the battery.
5. Reinstall and secure the battery access cover.
ATTENTION!
If you do not plan to use the generator for an extended period of time, we recommend
DISCONNECTING the negative cable from the battery to protect it from discharging. After disconnecting
the cable, cover the free end with an insulator.
