WORD PROCESSING

Word processing is a computer facility that enables users to create, format, edit, store and print
documents. Word is a very popular word processing application. The document displayed on the screen
of the system as it is typed on the keyboard. Text can be inserted or deleted, and spelling can be
checked. The document can be stored for future use and/or printed any number of times.

The Ctrl + B keys helps the user to bold text.

The Ctrl + I key helps the user to italicize text.

The Ctrl + U keys helps the user to underline text.

The 2 in X2 is an example of a subscript, whereas the 10 of X10 is an example of a superscript.

The Tab key enables the user to indent a paragraph on the left. To do so, the paragraph is typed,
highlighted, and then the Tab key is pressed. To remove indent, press the Backspace key.

USING COLUMNS
