Math Write-Up for Logo Project

(Task #5)
Your goal is to include the first four circle theorems into your two
logos that you create. You may use two theorems in the first logo and two
in the second, or one in the first and three in the second as long as there is
at least one in each and you have shown all four. In the section below you
will complete the mathematical analysis for your logos. This includes your
ability to find an angle using a protractor and to find lengths of lines in
your circle. If you are working with a partner you MUST work together on
this section, otherwise you will both submit your own answers.

Circle Theorem #1:

/4
★ Identify your inscribed angle (what color is it, do you have labels,
etc.) _______________________________________________________
★ Identify your central angle (what color is it, do you have labels, etc.)
___________________________________________________________
★ What is the angle measurement for your inscribed angle?_________
★ What is the angle measurement for your central angle ?__________
★ Please describe in your own words the relationship between these
two angles based on the circle theorem:__________________________
_____________________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________________

Circle Theorem #2:

/4
★ Identify your inscribed angle #1 (what color is it, do you have labels,
etc.) _______________________________________________________
★ Identify your inscribed angle #2 (what color is it, do you have labels,
etc.)

Circle Theorem #4:

/6
★ Identify your chord that is bisected by a radius (what color is it, do
you have labels, etc.) __________________________________________
★ Identify your radius that is bisects the chord (what color is it, do you
have labels, etc.) ______________________________________________
★ What is the length of your chord?_________
★ Does the radius bisect the chord exactly in half?________
★ If yes, how do you know?______________________________________
