D. Discussing the What are the 5 layers of the atmosphere and how do they differ from each other?
new concepts and
practicing new skills
Earth's atmosphere is composed of a series of layers, each with its specific traits. Moving upward from ground
#1
level, these layers are called the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, and exosphere. The
exosphere gradually fades away into the realm of interplanetary space.
E. Discussing the The blanket or envelope of gases surrounding the earth. The atmosphere that surrounds our planet is very
new concepts and important; it keeps us warm, gives us oxygen to breathe, and is where weather happens. Nitrogen and oxygen
practicing new skills are the main components of our atmosphere. Together they comprise 99% of our atmosphere. Nitrogen is used
#2 for bulbs, explosives, types, and helps in processing fertilizers.
Troposphere is where the weather forms: commercial airplanes also, fly on this layer. The air is very unstable on
this layer that’s why we call it turbulence. The highest peak in the world which is Mt. Everest also sits in this
layer.
The stratosphere is where the spy jet files because the air is very stable. The ozone layer is also found here.
The mesosphere is where meteors and other rock fragments burn up.
The exosphere is the outermost layer and extends through space. It is where the satellites are stationed.
G. Making
generalizations and
abstractions about In summary, these atmospheric layers create a dynamic environment that influences everything from weather
the lesson patterns to satellite orbits.
H. Finding Practical Imagine our planet without atmosphere, what do you think will happen?
