User Programs for Memoskop C-E, C-E100, C and Sub

This document describes how to load the Memoskop User Programs to the Memoskop.

Note: Floppy disk #3 contains the versions of the Memoskop User Programs, which were current in June 2004.
Please look, if there is a newer version of the Memoskop User Program delivered with the system. A newer
version has a larger number in the MEM file name.

Installation of the User Programs for Memoskop C-E

• Switch on the unit.


• Put the disk #3 "Memoskop User Programs" into the service PC drive A.
• Start the Memoskop Service Program and enter the password.
• Select the service PC serial interface.
• Click on "Get from Unit" in the Main menu. The currently stored parameters in the Memoskop are transferred
to the service PC. Wait for the transfer.
• Select the "File" menu.
• Select the "Load without technical Data" menu point.
• Select the file (A:\Userprograms_V1.mem) in the Data window.
Note:
For US a separate file “A:\Userprograms_V1_US.mem” exists.
For Lithostar Modularis a separate file “A:\Userprograms_V1_Litho_MUP.mem” exists.
• Click on "Open".

Because of some problems during transfer of the predefined data in the Memoskop software VC00A, you have
to delete the User Program PFC2, PFC3, DR3 and DR4 before transfer to the Memoskop. After successful
transfer you have to program it again with the Memoskop keyboard by hand (User Setup).

• Select the "Mode" menu in the Memoskop Service Program.


• Select the operating modes in turn (PFC, DR).
• Select the program to be erased in the respective menu points – PFC2 / PFC3 / DR3 / DR4.
• Select "Delete This Program" in the respective windows.
• After selecting all of the programs to be deleted click on "Put to Memoskop" in the main menu.
The parameters are transferred to the Memoskop and saved. Wait until the status Configuration load
done" is shown.
• Exit the Memoskop Service Program by selecting the "File" and "Exit" menus.
• Switch the unit off and then on again. Wait for start-up.

• Program the deleted User Programs PFC2 / PFC3 / DR3 / DR4 with the Memoskop keyboard. For
detail see below list of Organ Programs for Siremobil Compact and Iso-C.

• Select the individual operating modes on the system and check the number of available user programs by
pressing several times. The user program is shown and can be read in the top left corner of monitor A.

To optimize the User Programs for Subtraction and Roadmap you have to change some parameters at the K-
Factor Menu in the Memoskop Service Program.

• Select the 'K-Factor' menu.


• Select 'Subtraction Noise red Phase A' to the value 16.
• Select 'Subtraction Noise red PhaseB' to the value 8.
• Select 'Duration of phase A' to the value 1,5 s
• Select 'Roadmap Noise red PhaseA' to the value 16.
• Select 'Roadmap Noise red PhaseB' to the value 8.
• Do not change 'Roadmap Noise red PhaseC' ( MD2)
• Select 'Roadmap Duration of Phase A' to the value 1,5 s

• After all these changes click on "Put to Memoskop" in the main menu.
The parameters are transferred to the Memoskop and saved. Wait until the status "Configuration load done"
is shown.

• Exit the Memoskop Service Program by selecting the "File" and "Exit" menus.
• Switch the unit off and then on again. Wait for start-up.

• Program the deleted User Programs DR3 / DR4 with the Memoskop keyboard. For detail see below list of
Organ Programs for Siremobil Compact and Iso-C.

• Select the individual operating modes on the system and check the number of available user programs by
pressing several times. The user program is shown and can be read in the top left corner of monitor A.
