Designed for
This course is suitable for delegates who wish to learn to use spreadsheets
effectively. No previous knowledge is assumed, but familiarity with one or more
other Windows applications would be an advantage.
Description
The course covers the essential techniques for creating a spreadsheet, entering
and editing data and formulas, formatting a spreadsheet and printing
spreadsheets.

Objectives
This course builds on the Excel Level 1 course; on completion of the course, the
delegate will be familiar with the main features of Excel that are generally used
on a day to day basis. This course provides a foundation for the Excel Level 3
course that introduces some of the more advanced features of the product.
Designed for
This course is suitable for delegates who are familiar with using Excel
spreadsheets, including entering simple formulas and functions, copying and
pasting, using AutoFill, and formatting and printing spreadsheets.
Description
The course covers the main features of Excel that are used by most people on day
to day basis, including text functions, simple logical functions, creating Charts,
Sorting and Filtering Lists, inserting diagrams and comments, and Importing and
Exporting data. It also introduces some useful features such as Range Names that
form a basis for some of the more advanced features covered in the Level 3
course.

Objectives
This course introduces some of the more advanced features of Excel, to enable
the delegate to make the most effective use of the software, including the use of
linked Workbooks. On completion of the course, the delegate will be familiar with
most of the main features of Excel, including several features for Data Analysis.
Designed for
This course is aimed at delegates who are familiar with the essentials of Microsoft
Excel covered in the Level 1 and Level 2 courses and wish to extend their
knowledge to make the most of the facilities available in the software.
Description
The course covers some of the more advanced Functions, a range of Data
Analysis techniques including Advanced Filter, Database Functions and Pivot
Tables, and Workbook management facilities such as multiple linked workbooks,
Auditing, Shared Workbooks, Protection and Templates.
