Purpose of the session : Recognize about of the verbs in the present continuous.

TEACHING SEQUENCE

INITIAL Warming up:
The teacher enters the room and “prays our father” with the students, then places
the date of the day.
The teacher asks the students about of some rules classroom:
- Don’t eat.
- Participate in the class.
- Don´t play. Flashcards 20´
The teacher greets the students: “Good morning”. The students answer him, then
they sing a song: “Good morning and good bye”.
Motivation: The teacher asks showing little faces: How do you feel today? They
answer: I’m happy, I´m sad or I’m nervous.
The teacher applies an entrance exam to the students
T shows some pictures about “the verbs for using the present continuous”
- Reading
- Talking walks
- Playing board games

Recovery of previous knowledge:


T asks Do you like reading? yes, I love it?
Cognitive conflict:
- DO you like skateboarding? Yes, I like it very much.

DEVELOPM Information processing: Flashcards


ENT T shows some pictures about the verbs for using the present continuous, where
developed vocabulary for the learning of the children’s, then the student works their Letter
books.
T give some example using sentences about the theme: Cards
- She is drawing.
- He’s drawing. Worksheet 45´
- They are playing board games.
- She’s reading.
Listen and repeat after the teacher Practice
Then the teacher says open your book on the page 6 where they worked.
The students will develop a dramatic dialogue on page 6.
Applied learning: SS will develop their book.
Transfer to new situations:
SS demonstrate their learning using the book. The teacher monitors their works and
assess them with an observation sheet.
ENDING The teacher consolidates and answers their doubts. Then the teacher asks:
