My education in nursing has been a highly challenging and also interesting journey.
Undoubtedly, I have endured pressure from the huge amount of classwork and activities required
to be completed every semester. Three particular strengths have been visible over the entire
learning period. Firstly, I demonstrated my time management ability even when it was most
unlikely. While working and studying concurrently, I had to plan schedules so I was not late for
class activities. Though sometimes balancing work and studies seemed overwhelming, I learned
to cope.
The second strength revolved around team playing, exhibited through the engagement of
colleagues and instructors. Teamwork in healthcare produces improved patient care and
outcomes (Gea-Caballero et al., 2021). Besides the class discussions, I kept in touch with
classmates to extend discussions about content. Thirdly, I demonstrated high learning agility
beyond the required class content. By understanding the value of continuous learning, I exceeded
the provided class content in gathering as much information as possible. The strength provided
Vocational Nurse (LVN), a bachelor’s degree in nursing presents me with a broad range of
career alternatives (Salmond & Echevarria, 2017). I can work in critical care, public health,
pediatric, psychiatric, and labor and delivery departments (Salmond & Echevarria, 2017). The
most important for me would be to work as a labor and delivery nurse. I would feel most fulfilled
