Summary, Conclusions and Recommendations

This chapter provides an overview of the study's objectives and summarizes the key

findings. It also presents the conclusions drawn from the study and offers recommendations for

future research and practical applications.

Summary

The study aimed to investigate the potential of piezoelectric shock power charging as a

source of sustainable energy. Specifically, it sought to evaluate the voltage output of piezoelectric

materials when subjected to mechanical shocks, design and develop a piezoelectric energy

harvesting device capable of generating significant electric charge, and evaluate the device's

performance, durability, and adaptability. The voltage output was consistent and sufficient for

charging smartphones, demonstrating the viability of this technology.

Findings of the Study

According to the results of the study, the following findings were drawn:

1. Voltage Output from Piezoelectric Materials. The study found that piezoelectric materials

consistently produced a voltage output of 12.4 volts when subjected to mechanical shocks,

making them a viable option for charging smartphones and other small electronic devices.

2. Design and Development of Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting Device. The study

successfully designed and developed an energy harvesting device that could efficiently
generate significant electric charge from mechanical shock. The device was able to convert

mechanical energy into a consistent voltage of 12.4 volts.

3. Performance, Durability, and Adaptability of the Device. The device demonstrated strong

performance, durability, and adaptability across various environmental conditions,

maintaining consistent voltage output over repeated mechanical shocks.

Conclusions of the Study

Based on the findings, the study concludes that piezoelectric shock power charging is a

viable source of sustainable energy. The consistent voltage output of 12.4 volts from the

piezoelectric materials confirms their potential for practical applications in charging smartphones

and other small electronic devices. The successful design and development of the energy

harvesting device showcase the potential for further innovation in this area.

Recommendations

Based on the results, and findings of the study, the following recommendations were

drawn:

Further Research on Piezoelectric Materials. Future studies should focus on

optimizing piezoelectric materials to maximize energy conversion efficiency and improve the

durability and longevity of the device.

Expansion of Applications. Research should explore the broader applications of

piezoelectric shock power charging in various industries, including healthcare, transportation,

and consumer electronics.

Improvement of Energy Storage. Investigate efficient and effective methods of storing

the harvested energy for later use, particularly in portable and off-grid applications.

Field Testing and Commercialization. Conduct field tests to evaluate the device's real-

world performance and consider the commercialization of the technology for widespread use.
