Artistic Convergence

For this project, you will create a Slide Presentation where you will include various artistic elements that,
when combined, speak to who you are or who you want to become in the future. Everything school
appropriate!

Due Date: Slideshows are due for on Google Classroom May 3rd.
Presentations: May 6th, 8th, and May 10th (Unexcused absences will be a zero.)

Required Content:

● Slide #1: Artistic Convergence by (your name) period __

● Slide #2: Type the title, composer, and lyrics to a song (or part of a song). Use bold letters to
emphasize the words that describe who you are or who you would like to become. School appropriate!

● Slide #3: Find a quote that describes who you are or who you want to become. Type the quote. Then
in your own words, describe how this quote is meaningful to you.

● Slide #4: Find and insert a picture of a piece of artwork found online. In no more than 3 sentences,
explain why this piece of artwork speaks to who you are or who you want to become.

● Slide #5: Find a poem that describes who you are or who you want to become. Type the poem. Use
bold letters to emphasize key words. Then in your own words, describe how this poem is meaningful to
you.

● Slide #6: Think about a Cartoon (animated) and insert a picture or gif found online. In no more than 3
sentences, explain why this Cartoon speaks to who you are or who you want to become.

● Slide #7: Go online and find an article about a person who, in some ways, describes characteristics
about who you are or who you want to become. Copy and paste the title of the article, the author, date
of posting, and at least a few paragraphs that list character qualities, values, or attributes that you
share with the person the article was written about. Find a picture of the person in the article, insert
the picture.

● Slide #8: Think about a movie or show that has at least one scene that has inspired you to be the
person you are or inspired you to become a better person. Insert an image or graphic and the title
from the production on this slide. Write a brief paragraph describing the scene and its significance in
your life.

● Slide #9: Think about a book or short story that inspires you to be the person you are, or inspires you
to become a better person. Insert an image or graphic and the title (3 points) and author of the
book/story on this slide. Write a brief paragraph describing the book/Story’s significance in your life.

● Slide #10: Insert a picture of yourself on this slide. Look back at the content from slides 2-9. Identify
10 words or phrases that best describe who you are or who you want to be in the future. Number
those words or phrases in order of importance with #1 being the most important and #10 being the
least important.
