a. At about 8:02 AM on October 2, 2023, in Mariveles, Bataan particularly at Supermarket Freeport Area, elements of Mariveles
Police Station arrested the suspect CATALINO DELA CRUZ y JUAN, 28 years old, single, and a resident of Bagumbayan-Ilajas,
Alimodian, Iloilo for Violation on RA 10591 in relation to Omnibus Election Code. Acting on said report, personnel of this station office
were immediately dispatched and responded to the aforesaid place to verify the veracity of the report. Based on the initial investigation
conducted disclosed that the suspect arrested in Mariveles Domestic Port upon going home to IloIlo. While buying his ticket, he left his
bag on the floor with a porter. It took him around 15 minutes to purchase a ticket. Catalino Dela Cruz y Juan then proceeds to the
entrance of the terminal and placed his bag on the x-ray scanning machine for inspection. Upon checking his belongings, the operator of
the X-ray machine saw firearms inside the suspect’s bag. The responding team led by PMSg Ronnel Vargas and PCpl Cristera M Yuson
of Mariveles Police Station arrived at the port to respond the incident. Upon turn-over the incident to the Investigation-on-Case led by
PMSg Kenn Angelo Villareal and his team confiscated three (3) caliber 38 revolver and four (4) live ammunitions. The suspect, whom
already held was turned over to the police station and effect his arrest, informed the nature of his arrest and apprised him of his
constitutional rights. Confiscated pieces of evidence were also brought to this PS for disposition.
b. Subsequently, the suspect was brought to Mariveles District Hospital and subjected the latter for physical/medical examination
and later brought to Mariveles Police Station for further investigation, documentation and proper disposition.
