Activity on Project 1: Title:


Mission Pantbalekundri

Aim/ Objective: ​Community service in Pantbalekundri village, Belgaum to create awareness and
provide solution to the problems faced in the village like Cleanliness, Waste Management, Rain
water harvesting, Drainage system etc.
Relevant Photograph:

We performed community service in Pant Balekundri village. As it was a team project


there were around 60 leaders involved in the project. Most of the villagers are facing health
issues due to lack of sanitation, hygiene, and cleanliness. Leaders spread awareness about health
and hygiene in Pant Balekundri by communicating with people. As everyone knows there is a
water problem everywhere and we have to use water judiciously. Harvesting rainwater is also a
way to avoid the water problem. Many of the people don’t know about harvesting rainwater.
We made the other people knowledgeable about rainwater harvesting.

Destroying and managing the waste is also important to keep the place neat, fresh and
clean. We informed people about managing waste and store wet and dry wastes separately at
one place also to destroy them separately.
Every time a group of people visit a place and tell people about what to do and what not
to do. Just telling or informing really does not affect people. To put a good impact and to
influence people, we decided to do something in Pant Balekundri. So, we cleaned Pant
Balekundri bus stop and they painted it. When leaders had been to people’s houses some were
not responding, somewhere avoiding them and some people really appreciated and supported
leaders.

Activity on Project 2: Marathon during swami vivenkandan jayanti

Aim/ Objective: Marathon of students from Gogte college to ramkrishn ashram to create awareness about the
rituals and stories of swami vivekanda. Talks with chakrvathri sulibele in bogarves about morals and social
causes.

Visited the Ashram which is near lake of Belgaum where we saw many useful Arts of swami vivekanda and
sister nivedita and served food fr the people who had come fr marathon.

Activity on project 3: Lead cell activities


Aim/objectives: ​As a part of lead cell GIT participation in selling diyas in low cost fr people near by, this was
the part of work from lead exodus’16 and went successfully.

Creating awareness of women's day and Realising them how strong they r and the work that they do is
appreciable by giving them certificates.

We see womens around us they clean fr us and take care of everything around hostel area so we choose to give
them special certificate of appriciation.
