1.It’s not rocket science


Meaning: something is not complicated to understand
Usage: Just look up the answer online; it’s not rocket science.

2. Up to speed
Meaning: to be familiar with current information
Usage: Can everyone help him get up to speed on our accounts?

3. Set the record straight


Meaning: To reveal the truth/ To clarify
Usage: Let us set the record straight with the client.

4.Burn the midnight oil


Meaning:to consistently work beyond normal business hours
Usage: Our supervisor is burning the midnight oil to meet every deadline.

5.Bite the bullet


Meaning: Finish something no matter how unpleasant/unsatisfying it may get
Usage: We need to bite the bullet and finish this before the deadline

6.Go the extra mile


Meaning:To make an extra effort or to do more than expected.
Usage:We will go the extra mile to help the weaker team mates of our team.

7. Cut Corners
Meaning:- Purchase something in the least expensive way or do something
easily/reduce expenses.
Usage: The contracting firm cut corners on the garden installation.

8 . prioritize task
Meaning :- determine which tasks are more important and tackle those first .
Usage:- Tori could you please prioritize the pertinent task
9 . Learn the Ropes
Meaning:- To learn/know how to do a job or activity.
Usage:It took a while for some of the members of our team to learn the ropes,
but now they are really doing well.
10 .stay organized
Meaning :- keep your workspace tidy and organize your tasks and resources
effectively
Usage :- I perform better when I stay organized
