ISRO-The National Space Agency of India

The Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) operates as the primary

research and development arm of the Department of
Space(DOS).

The present chairman of ISRO is Sreedhara Panicker Somanath.

ISRO is primarily responsible for performing tasks related to space based

operations, space exploration and development of related technologies.

ISRO is one of the six government space agencies in the world that possesses full
launch capabilities ,can deploy cryogenic engines , can launch extra terrestrial
missions and operate a large fleet of artificial satellites.

ISRO is one of the four government space agencies to have soft landing (uncrewed
capabilities).

Conclusion

ISRO, Indian Space Research organization started with Nike Apache and
reached great heights with missions like Chandrayaan 3. It's a symbol of our
country's spirit and potential and represents cost effectiveness, self reliance and
scientific advancements. Through its work, ISRO has helped us in many ways,
inspiring lots of people. With new projects like Gaganyaan, ISRO keeps making
us proud, showing that the sky is not the limit. Let us wish for the success of
future missions of ISRO.
