1. How do you define values?

-Values are something that we give special importance to in our lives. May it be an object or a
principle.

2. Write at least 10 values that you possess and rank them according to what you think is
important to you

7. Respect
8. Money
9. Determination
10. Faith

3. Do you agree that using “po” and “opo” and kissing the hands of our parents are
signs of respect and therefore should be preserved? Why? Explain briefly but concisely.
-Yes, I believed it should be preserved. It symbolizes the beautiful meaning of giving respect to
the elders while also receiving blessings from them.

4. Do you believe in the saying that “kung ano ang puno ay siyang bunga?” Explain.
I do believe that children tend to imitate or make their parents their role models when they’re
young. They developed their personalities and values through the influence of those role
models, while also creating a sense of uniqueness as we grew older.

5. Explain “Values are caught and not taught.”


This implies that values are something we pick up from individuals who live them out and who
have firsthand knowledge of them. not simply because someone told us to.
