Curriculum Vitae

Personal Statement
As a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in English and Digital Cultural Studies followed by a Master's in
Technical Communication and eLearning, which I will graduate from in early 2025. I am looking forward to
beginning my career in instructional design. While my professional journey has yet to officially begin in this field,
my academic background has equipped me with a solid foundation in communication, technology, and the
intricacies of online learning environments.

Throughout my academic career, I have developed a love of instructional design. Along with many new
skills I have also gained an appreciation of how important online learning resources are and how significant they
will be as education is gradually moving online. The opportunity to design a resource for a diverse audience is
very intriguing to me and having the chance to create meaningful learning experiences is exciting.

Although I lack experience in instructional design work, I want to learn more and gain knowledge from
professionals in this field. I feel I can bring a fresh perspective and an eagerness to grow and enhance my skills. I
have always believed that if I carry the desire to constantly become better and hold the mindset that I can learn
from everyone around me, I will be much more capable of adapting to the work at hand.

As I am new to the professional field of work, I bring with me motivation and enthusiasm to gain insights
into instructional designing. I am eager to put my academic background to use and become an asset to any
instructional design team.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how I can
contribute to your team and grow as an instructional designer.
