MATERIALS:
Cotton yarn - Yarn Art Jeans (160m - 50 g (174
yds - 50 g)) or another sport yarn next colors:
• gray yarn for a body, arms, a helmet (#80)
• beige yarn for a nose (#07)
• crimson yarn for a comb (#91)
• black yarn for decoratios (#53)
• dark blue yarn for a shield and decorations (#68)
• fiber filler

- white acrylic yarn for a beard

TOOLS:
• 2 mm hook
• large needle for sewing parts, scissors, pet
brush
• knitting markers (to mark the beginning of a
round)

ABBREVIATIONS:

R - rounds
MR - magic (amigurumi) ring
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
inc - increase, 2 sc in one stitch
dec - decrease, 2 sc together
sl st - sleep stitch
st - stitch
ch - chain

HEAD AND BODY
Use the gray yarn, 2 mm crochet hook.

Stuff the piece with fiber filler.

THE BOTTOM OF THE BODY


Use the dark blue yarn.
Begin to crochet between 8-9
rounds of the lower torso.

Cut and secure the thread.

BEARD
Use the white acrylic yarn.
Cut 26-30 threads (approximately
25 cm (10 inches).

Take two threads, fold in half and


fasten with a hook around the
nose of the gnome as shown on
photos.
Comb a beard with a pet brush.
Straighten the beard with your
hands, smooth it.

Fold in half the helmet as shown.
Starting crochet from the top to the
bottom of the helmet.

R 1: Make 20 sc, turn and crochet


20 sc in the same stitches to the
top of the helmet.

R 2-4: continue crochet 40 sc (3

Make sl st, leave the tail for sewing.

COMB
Use crimson yarn.
Cut 60 threads (approximately 10
cm (4 inches)).
Take three threads, fold in half and
hook in the arch.

Repeat this 20 times. Looking on


the pictures.

Comb the yarn with a pet brush.

Use a large needle to sew the two


gray parts of the arch together.

You can cut the comb of the arch


with scissors.
VISOR
Use the gray yarn.
Crochet by rows.
Make 4 ch, starting in the second loop
from the hook:

Insert the hook into stitch and draw up a

Make the last loop a little bigger,


and through the reverse side pull
it out in the place where the
second strip should start.

The second strip will have 8 sl


sts, the third and fourth 10 sl sts,
the fifth 8 sl st, the sixth 6 sl st.
Cut the yarn. Fasten off.

BUTTONS
Use the black yarn.
Make 6 sc in the MR.
Leave the tail for sewing.
Crochet 2 pieces.

Sew the buttons with visor to the


helmet.

Put the helmet on the gnome and


sew it near the arms.
SHIELD
Use the dark blue yarn.
Crochet by rows.
Make 3 ch, starting in the second loop

Draw the yarn through 6 loops and


pull until the hole is tightly closed.
Cut and secure the thread.

HANDLE
Use the black yarn.
Make 16 ch, sl st in the first ch.
Make a circle.
R 1: 15 sc
Leave the tail for sewing and cut
the thread.
Put the base of the sword in a
black circle, fold in half and sew as
shown on the photos.

Sew the sword to the right arm. Cut


and secure the thread.
