Preface
The present set of questions has been prepared with the objective of enabling the
students to produce various forms of writing in English. The questions have been
framed in a way that the students are challenged to apply their critical thinking ability to
preparing their answers.

We thank the CTE and Committee members for providing us with the opportunity to
create this manual for students. Utmost care has been taken while preparing this
assignment manual however there are chances of improvement. We welcome
constructive suggestions for improvement and removal of errors if any.

Q.1 Write 10 words related to technology and use them in sentences.

E.g. Cybersecurity - “Cybersecurity is the practice of protecting systems, networks, and

Q.2 Give 10 examples of ‘blending’ and ‘clipping’. Use them in sentences.
