TERMS TO REMEMBER:
• B ROLL - video shots that are supplemental footage (extra footage, stock footage, or supporting footage)
• FOOTAGE/TRACK VIDEOS/VIDEO CLIPS - is a section of film or video that's been shot or recorded.
• IMPORT - is bringing a file into a program. It could be opening a file or adding to a database.
• EXPORT - Exporting is saving a file from a program, often in another file format (this would be another
version of the original file and thus a copy) and often to be used in another program
• AUDIO PRODUCTION - the art and science of sound recording, editing, and mixing.
Generally, there are three main types of audio you’ll use in your video:
• Music: This includes both diegetic music (music heard by the on-screen characters, such as a song that
plays when a character turns on the radio) and incidental music (music heard only by the audience, such
as a traditional score).
• Sound effects: A sound effect can be anything from the pop of a balloon to the soundscape of a busy city
street to a swoosh that accompanies a cut or camera movement.
Note:
1.CapCut will save the project draft automatically. You can pause and resume editing anytime.
2. For automatic quick editing, you can also use the ShortCut feature to create videos in 1-click.
