Q. When people think about traveling to other countries, what may be some of the things they
are most interested in? Why do you think these things are of such interest to travelers?

Q. You indicated in the survey that you play a musical instrument. What is it? Why do you like t
o play it? Please describe it in detail.

I can play the piano and I have done it since I was five years old. When I was young, I didn’t like
playing the piano, but I really enjoy it these days. When I play the piano, I can forget about my p
roblems and stressful matters in my life. I don’t have a piano at home, so I sometimes play it wh
en I am at the church or other places which have a piano. For a couple of years, I have been bus
y with work, so I hardly play it, but it is still my favorite hobby.

Q. How did you begin to be interested in playing the instrument? How did you learn to play it?

When I was five years old, my mother sent me to a piano class. At that time, I hated learning pia
no and just wanted to play with friends. But my piano teacher was so kind and she was really go
od at playing the piano. When I heard her play, I was really inspired and started to practice a lot
because I wanted to be like her. I was a beginner, so I had to learn very basic skills, but it was qu
ite interesting. Thanks to her, I got interested in piano and learned a lot about it.

Q. Have you ever had trouble learning how to play the instrument? If so, what problem was it?
How did you handle that? Please tell me about all the difficulties with a lot of details.

When I was learning how to play the piano, one day I decided to participate in a contest. It was
a quite big and competitive contest, so I had to practice a lot. But I didn’t have a piano at home
and it was a serious problem for me. I was discouraged by the situation. But my piano teacher s
uggested that I use her piano for my practice. Her house was so close to my home and I could p
ractice almost every day thanks to her kindness.
