It is an offence to practice medicine or dentistry in Maldives without registration and obtaining a practicing license from the Maldives Medical and
Dental Council, under the Health care Profession Act Law no. (13/2015)

All medical officers registered in the council after 31st December 2013, have to appear and clear the licensing exam conducted by MMDC before
their registration & license expires.

NOTE: Exam will be conducted in Male', HDh. Kulhudhuffushi, GDh. Thinadhoo, L. Gan & S. Hithadhoo Campus. Please send in your applications
through virtual counter <counter.health.gov.mv>. Exam form can be downloaded from http://mmc.gov.mv/application-forms/> as well as the
virtual counter.
