Dear Sir/Madam,
LETTER OF DEMAND FOR THE REFUND OF DEBIT OF N82,500(EIGHTY-TWO THOUSAND
FIVE HUNDRED NAIRA)
I, UBANI, UGWUMSINACHI SUNDAY BABINGTON who is the account name bearer of the following
account number:2064994679, hereby apply for the refund of N82,500 (Eighty-Two Thousand Five
Hundred Naira) being the amount debited from the above account details upon the declined
transaction.
The transaction in question was carried out on 19 of May, 2023 from the above UBA account
details into Nigerian College of Accountancy which the first one with the name NANYANWU
VICTORIA NNEKA and receipts number: 200698344314 declined but debited and the second one
with the name OKORIE
KATHERINE and receipts number: 825616594394 was
successful. A subsequent successful payment was made the following day being Saturday, 20*
May, 2023 to make up the declined payment in the name of NANYANWU VICTORIA NNEKA with
receipts number: 372513464488. I made several attempts and laid complaints to the bank to
refund the debited amount of N82,500 (Eighty-Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira) without
success as the bank insisted that the transaction was successful by giving receipts that do not
correspond with the details of the declined transaction.
Find attached copies of the transaction receipts.
I hereby request that the said debited amount N82,500 (Eighty-Two Thousand Five Hundred
Naira) be refunded.
Kindly take note that I will institute an action in the appropriate Court against the bank should it
fail to act accordingly.
