AN EXECUTIVE ORDER CREATING THE SUBPROJECT IMPLEMENTATION


TEAM (SIT) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF KIAMBA

WHEREAS, the Indian-Quick Impact Project (I-QIP) seeks to contribution to the economic
growth of local government units (LGUs) all over the country, through the enhancement of delivery
of basic services, generation of jobs in the community, and strengthening agriculture and business
sectors of the locality;

WHEREAS, the I-QIP intendeds to fund short gestation projects (hereinafter referred to as
“Subprojects”) that will directly benefit local communities, drive local socio-economic development,
particularly ofr, but not limited to, creation or improvement of Physical infrastructure such as roads,
local community centers, etc., and social infrastructure such as in education, health, sanitation, or
community development sectors;

WHEREAS, the LGUs, as provided under Section 17 of Republic Act No.7160 (Local Government
Code of 1991), assume the primary responsibility for the provision of basic services and facilities
and the improvementof the quality of the life of their constituents;

WHEREAS, to ensure the effective and efficient implementationof the subproject and the judicious
utilization of the Indian Grant Assistance, there is a need for the creation of a Subproject
Implementation Team (SIT) in the LGU to ensure efficient and effective implementation of the
Subproject;

NOW THEREFORE, I, GEORGE F. FALGUI of MUNICIPALITY OF KIAMBA, by virtue of powers


vested in me by law and the Local Government Code, do hereby create the I-QIP Subproject
Implementation Team (SIT).

SECTION 1. CREATION. A Subproject Implementation Team (SIT) is hereby created, composed


of dedicated and skilled individuals from various relevant departments and offices of the LGU. The
SIT shall be responsible for the efficient and effective implementation of the Subproject as
mandated by the LGU.

SECTION 2. OBJECTIVES. The SIT shall have the following objectives;


1. To ensure the timely and proper execution of the Subprojects;
2. To promote inter-departmenta coordination and collaboration for seamless project
implementation;
3. To monitor project progress , assess performance, and recommend corrective actions
when necessary; and,
4. To enhance transparency, accountability, and public trust in the execution of the
Subproject.
