a. Prayer
- Class, please let us all stand
for a prayer.
b. Greetings
- Again, Good Morning class!
- Good Morning Sir!
c. Checking of Attendance
- Is there any absent today?
-Okay, very good.
- None Sir.
d. Setting of Classroom
Standard
- What are the important health
protocols to be followed while
the class is going on? - Always wear face
mask
- Observe social
distancing
- What are the classroom rules - Always sanitize and
that should be followed during disinfect hands and
class is going on? objects before using it.
- Turn off all phones
and other gadgets
- Raise your hand if you
want to answer
- Avoid chitchatting with
friends
Elicit Review
- Last meeting, we
discussed about Nano
Technology.
- Nanotechnology refers to
the science, engineering,
and technology
conducted at the
nanoscale, which is
about 1-100 nanometers.
It employs the study and
application of
exceptionally small
things in other areas of
science including
materials science,
engineering, physics,
biology, and chemistry.
- How to view
nanomaterials? Yes, Mr./Ms. ____________
(Answers may vary)
- Very good!
Through the use of
Microscopy such as
Electron Microscope,
Atomic Force
Microscope, and
Scanning Tunneling
Microscope.
- We have discussed
about Distinct Features
of Nanoscale as well as
the Government Funding
of Different Countries in
Nanotechnology.

1. Volcanic Eruption
- When a volcanic erupts,
it emits natural aerosols
like carbon and sulfur
dioxides, salt crystals,
volcanic ashes or dust or
even microorganisms
and bacteria.
- It can cause a cooling
effect to the lithosphere.

2. Orbital Changes
- proposed by Milankovitch
Theory.
- It states that as the Earth
travel through space
around the sun., cyclical
variations in three
elements of earth-sun
geometry combine to
produce variations in the
amount of solar energy
that reaches Earth
(Academia Emporia,
2017).
1. Eccentricity
- is a term used to
describe the shape of the
Earth’s orbit around the
sun.
- Academic Emporia
(2017), “the eccentricity
influences seasonal
differences: When Earth

is closest to the sun, it
gets more solar radiation.
If the perihelion occurs
during the winter, the
winter is less severe. If
the hemisphere has a
summer, while closest to
the sun, the summer is
more warm.’”
2. Obliquity
- It is the variation of the
tilt of Earth’s axis away
from the orbital plane.
- Academic Emporia, “the
more tilt means more
severe seasons; warmer
summers, cold winters;
less tilt means less sever
seasons; cooler
summers, milder winter.”
3. Precession
- It is the change in
orientation of the earth’
rotational axis.
- It is caused by two
factors: wobble of earth’
axis and turning around
of the elliptical orbit of
the earth itself.
- The change in the axis
location changes the
dates of perihelion
(closest distance from
the Sun) and aphelion

(farthest). This increases
the seasonal contrast in
one hemisphere while
decreasing it in the other
hemisphere.
Human Activities
4 Principal Greenhouse
Gases
- These greenhouses
gases are natural gases.
However, high level of
these gases contributes
to the greenhouse effect.
- Vector-bome diseases
such as malaria and
dengue fever.
