Part (a)
1. Project Title: Marketing Plan for a New Product
2. Project Description:
In this project, you will develop a marketing plan for a new product of your choice.
You can either choose an existing product or come up with a completely new
product idea. Your marketing plan should include the following elements:

➢ Product Description: Provide a detailed description of the product,


including its logo, tagline, features, benefits, and target market. An analysis
of the product's unique features and benefits.

➢ Market Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of the market for your


product, including a SWOT analysis and identification of your competitors.

➢ Target Market: Identify your target market and develop a customer persona
that represents your ideal customer.

➢ Marketing Mix: Develop a comprehensive marketing mix that includes


product, price, promotion, and place.

➢ Development of promotional techniques to effectively communicate the


value proposition of the product to the target audience.

➢ Your plan should also consider relevant marketing strategies, such as


differentiation or any other strategy you think can be important for
your product to compete in the market.

➢ Marketing Budget: Develop a budget for your marketing plan and identify
the most effective channels for reaching your target market.

➢ Evaluation of your performance: How you will evaluate the performance


your business.
Part (b)

• You will make a power point presentation on the basis of your report.
• A presentation will be conducted in last weeks of your semester.

Part (c)

➢ Deliverables:
• Your final project should include a written report that outlines your
marketing plan and a presentation that summarizes your findings.

➢ Evaluation Criteria:
Your project will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Clarity and completeness of your marketing plan.


• Effectiveness of your marketing mix.
• Appropriateness of your target market and customer persona.
• Thoroughness and accuracy of your market analysis.
• Creativity and originality of your product idea.
• Professionalism and organization of your written report and presentation.
• Marks will be marked on print outs of your report and power point
presentation.
• Project Report Marks: 8 (Report print outs=4 + Behavioral Assessment=4)
• Power Point Presentation Marks: 8 (Power point presentation with print
outs=4 + Behavioral Assessment=4)

✓ Instructions:
• This will be a group project and each member will be evaluated
individually.
• You are required to take print outs of your report and power point
presentation as well and then submit it on given deadline.
• Deadline of the project & power point presentation:7th May,2024
(Tuesday)
• No report and power point presentation will be submitted after
deadline.
