Alfred opened his eyes slowly and was inmediately hit by a throbbing pain in his head. He hissed and
cursed under his breath. Once his eyes adjusted to the dark room, he looked around. Desk, chair, and is
that a monitor? It seemed like he was in some sort of living room. Where was he?

Alfred : " Why am I here?"

Slowly, Alfred pulled himself off the ground to avoid anymore unneccesary pain. It was now that he
realized his muscle were aching, especially in his legs

Alfred " Damm, I must have been sleeping for so long. Wait, sleeping?"

He tried to recall the last thing he did because he was sure it wasn't sleeping in some random place. But
nothing came to mind

Alfred : " Well this suck. But at least I remembered my name and ultimate talent"

Alfred : “ Great. Now what am I suppose to do? Perhap I should explore this place”

Alfred made a beeline for the door, but right at when he was about to step outside, he bumped into
somebody

??? : “ Careful, Al”

He suddenly lost his balance for being surprise, and he toppled over, hitting the hard floor with a thud.
He groaned as he rubbed the back of his head.

??? : “ You okay Al? I found you collasped near the entrance, so I brought you here. Are you feeling
better?”

Alfred sat up at the sound of his name. Only one person called him like that

Alfred : “ Yeah, thanks Matt. But did you just said I collasped ?”

Matthew : “ Well not exactly collasped. You were spiraling on the floor like you just have your 18 th
birthday and mumbling something in your sleep, so Arthur helped me brought you here”

Alfred : “ Arthur was here too?”

Matthew : “ Appearantly, 20 of us, including you. They were at the meeting room”

Alfred : “Meeting room…? Oh right, we were here for a meeting, but where..?”

Matthew : “ It seemed like no one know where we were either, they were trying to figure it out. Maybe
you could remember something by talking to them”
Alfred : “ Well then, lead the way bro”

With one deep breath, Alfred stepped out of the room.

Outside the room was a large hallway, with other doors and corridors leading to other unknown areas.
This place looked far from friendly: everything was barricage, the air was heavy, the silence was killing
him . He felt suffocated just by walking alone. But most importantly, he felt like something else was
missing, something just as important as his memory

Matthew : “ Are you okay? You look pale. I thought you would be more exciting to discover an unknown
place like this”

Alfred : “ I’m fine. It’s just… I feel like I’m missing something, and not just my memories.”

Matthew : “ Maybe you’re just tired from sleeping for so long. Are you sure you didn’t need to sit
down?”

Alfred : I’m fine Matt. Just get on with this already”

They ended up going down a corridor that lead to a dormitory. Each door had a small picture of
someone on it, presumably meaning it belonged to them.

Alfred: “Hey, that’s pretty good.”

Matthew: “No it’s not. Who’s expecting us to stay here?”

???: “ That’s right mon cher.Though that was to be expected”

The brothers turned to yet another new voice. The owner of said voice belonged to a man with houlder-
length blond hair and blue eyes. He wore a long blue coat and matching capelet, with red pants and
brown boots

Alfred : “ Gah!! Francis, don’t scare us like that?”

Matthew : “ What do you mean?”

Francis : “ It seemed all the possible entrances and windows were locked still, and unfortunately I failed
to find a way out, so it was possible that the dorms were prepared for us”

Matthew : “ I see..”

Alfred : “ Hey,since we were on the way to the meeting room, care to join us?”

Francis : “ It would be my pleasure”

The three made their way to the meeting room. On their way, they talked about what they
remembered, but it proved fruitless as Francis only remember vague things.They arrived at the meeting
room before they even realized it

??? : “ What took you so long, frog? Ah, Alfred, there you are”

Matthew : “ I’m right here you know..”

??? : “ Ah, Alfred-san. You’re finally awake. How are you feeling?”

Alfred : “ All good now, thanks Kiku”

life, displaying a deep grey static. It stayed that way for only a few moments, until a silhouette faded
upon it. It showed a ..rabbit??? A colorful rabbit nonetheless, what’s with the purple ears and pink face
and black upper half with white wings. Its eyes were a combination of a star and cresent

???: “Aaaahem! Testing, testing! One two one two”

??? :“ Good days my dear students, my name is Kanami and I’m you vice-principle for this semester”

It was so surreal to Alfred. Sure, his whole life was already strange, but this? Maybe he needed to
apologize to Arthur for not believing in his imaginary friends.

Matthew: “Headmaster…?”

Monocorn: “Puhuhu… you don’t know who I am? Everyone knows who I am! You just so happened to
forget!”

Basch: “...I don’t think anyone knows you.”

Mathias : “ Totally sus”

Gilbert : “ Sus”

Kanami: “That is quite enough!”

Monocorn : “ That’s right pal! We’re going off topic! And we haven’t even got to the juicy part yet! Or do
you need an axe in your skull to learn how to respect other you shithead?”

Everyone turned back to him, thought he could hear some gigles from Gilbert

Monokuma: “Now, without further interruption, let us commence the entrance ceremony!”

Kanami: “From now on, you will be entering your school life, and I shall hear no objection”

Tolys : “ School life?”

school life’s end date… is forever!”

Lovino: “Stop playing games! I’ve had enough of you! You kidnapped us and now told us to stay here
forever? Are you fucking with us?”

Kanami : “ This is a serious matter, so please hold yourself back or there shall be punishment, Mister
Vargas”

Lovino : “ Punishment? Yeah right, then stop hiding like a coward and face me properly”

Feliciano : “ Ve,nii-chan,maybe you shouldn’t taunt it like that”

Francis : “ That’s right, who know what would it do?”

Alfred couldn’t comprehend what had just been uttered by that sadistic bear. Killing game? To murder
his friends to leave? He was surprised at how he managed to stay upright.

Arthur: “What…? What the fuck?!”

Everyone was just as confused. Except for one.

Ludwig : “ But nations can’t die. Even if someone kill we wouldn’t die”

Monocorn : “ Fufufu, you’ll have to do it yourself to see”

Tolys : “ That’s right, we won’t kill each other. We have already suffered enoug to understand killing is
not the option”

Monocorn : “ Then stay here forever! You won’t have to worried about boring politics and meeting
anymore. You can spend your time doing whatever you want here, for example, enticing revenge?”

Ivan: “What would happened when a murder occur then?”

Elzabeth: “You’re already thinking about that?! You’re sick”

Sans: “Well… I’m just wondering you know.”

Kanami: “Good question. You see, we have decided it would be not fun if a murder occurred and the
killer got off scot-free. So, once a murder has taken place, there will be a short amount of time where
you can investigate the murder of your classmate, which will soon be followed by a world trial”

Luigi: “Class trial…?”

Kanami: “Let me explain.During the world trial, you will present your evidence for who you think the
killer is. If the culprit is successfully found out, then only they receive punishment! However, if you pick
the wrong person, then they get to leave the school and the rest of you will be punished!”

Monocorn : “ What do you think? So exciting right?”

Arthur: “None of this is making any damn sense!”

Raivis: “I’d never kill anyone!”

Monocorn : “ You keep saying that, everyone keep saying that…Why can’t you dumb shit just shut the
fuck up and kill each other already? This pathetic act is making me sick!”

Basch: “This has to-a be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard! There’s no point listening to you!”

Kanami: “Well, listen or not. It doesn’t mean that someone else isn’t plotting at this very moment. Deny
it all you want. It doesn’t change the fact that you are all just faker lying to each other”

Wang : “ what??”

Monocorn: “ Can we move on before I make this whole place explore? Good! Catch”

Monokuma pulled out about a dozen or so digital-looking pads, and tossed them out to each person.
When Alfred caught his, it appeared to be a device.

Monokuma:” This little thing called Monopad holds all the utmost important information for your school
life, such as a map of the school and info on each student. It also has very important school rules listed
on there - be sure to read them! And don’t even think about losing it!”

Alfred heard Arthur cursed under his breath.

Monokuma: “Oh, I’m just so excited! I can almost taste the despair! And I guess this concludes your
entrance ceremony, sooo, get killing as soon as possible! Thanks!”

And just like that, the monitor shut off with no further explanation.

Matthew: “...So, um, what now?”

At that very moment, Alfred realized what was he missing

Alfred : “ hahaha….”

It was himself. Whatever that thing has done, it has taken away a part of himself
