Performance Task (How will we know if they learned it?)
1. Students can make a craft by using material that they learned based on their own creativity
The students should make a craft based on their creativity using the material that has been learned in five
days. They have to do the project using at least 2 materials.
After they are done with their craft, they have to be able to present what they are making. In their
presentation, they have to tell

Learning Activities (How will students learn it?)
Day 1
1. Materials : Manipulatives (Photo Frame, Keychain) and Video
2. Warm up:
● Teacher explains what will be learned today (learning purpose).
● Teacher asks about the things around them that are made of wood.
3. Transition and Activity:
● The teacher explains the material about the characteristics of wood.
● The teacher gives real examples of objects made of wood.
● Students are divided into groups to find objects around the classroom and school that are made of
wood.
● Students will be in a group of three. They will make crafts using ice cream sticks. The teacher
will give some ideas and how to make them.
● After finishing, each group has to be able to fill all the information about wood in the paper that
was given ( Mindmap )

Day 2
1. Materials : Manipulatives (Look up together in the garden) and Video
2. Warm up:
● Teacher explains what will be learned today (learning purpose).
● Teacher asks about the things around them that are made of rocks.
3. Transition and Activity:
● The teacher explains the material about the characteristics of rocks.
● The teacher gives real examples of objects made of rocks.
● The students who were in a pair look for 3 small rocks around the garden, which have basically
already been hidden by the teacher.

● After finding the rocks, every group will do the “volcano”. In the paper students have to be able
to write on the information about rocks. For the rock that they already find, it will be stick on the
volcano too ( The glue process will do by the teacher - because it have to use the glue gun)

Homework : Tell the students about ecobrick which they will use in the next week. They have to make it and
bring it in the next meeting

2. Warm up:
● Teacher explains what will be learned today (learning purpose).
● Teacher asks about the things around them that made by plastic
3. Transition and Activity:
● The teacher explains the material about the characteristics of plastic.
● The teacher gives real examples of objects made of plastic.
● Students make eco bricks by filling pieces of plastic packaging into plastic bottles, which is the
homework from last week.
● All students assemble their eco bricks into a table.

Day 4
1. Materials : Manipulatives (Scissors, Metal Ruler, Key) and Video
2. Warm up:
● Teacher explains what will be learned today (learning purpose).
● Teacher asks about the things around them that made by Metal
3. Transition and Activity:

● The students will watch the video about the metal. Then discuss together what they find about
metal from the video.
● The teacher explains the material about the characteristics of metal.
● The teacher gives real examples of objects made of metal.

Day 5

● The teacher explains the material about the characteristics of glass
● The teacher gives real examples of objects made of glass
● The teacher prepares a glass bottle.
● Students will be in groups of 5. They will make an aquarium using the glass bottles that are
given.
