Explore

Observing the sky will help us tell the weather. Weather


changes from time to time and can differ from place to place;
it can be windy, sunny, cloudy, rainy or stormy. We can look at
and feel the sky, clouds, sun and the movements of things
blown by the wind to tell the weather.

When the sun is up and shines brightly,


the sky is blue and clear, we can do a lot of
outdoor activities, it is a sunny day!

When the air is moving fast and


there are no clouds in the sky, the
branches and leaves of the trees sway
with the wind. It is a windy day!

We can see a lot of clouds in the sky.


Clouds cover the sun that it can no longer
be seen. We can feel cool breeze and it
has a big chance of raining, it is a cloudy
day!

The sky is dark and it rains the whole


day. We stay inside the house and do
indoor activities like playing board games
or play outside with the rain, it is a rainy
day!

Very dark and thick clouds are forming


and the rain is very heavy accompanied
with thunder and lightning. The winds
move fast and strong. It is not safe to go
outside, it is a stormy
